Armenian architectural heritage on the territory of modern Turkey had been strongly damaged after the WWI. Many monuments were lost irrevocably, and now they can be seen only on old photos. For different reasons Armenian monasteries & churches has been still being destroyed there, that’s why every photo is of immense value, as even in such condition they can be seen nevermore .

This site was made not for the discussion of the events, that began in April 1915 (are mentioned in texts, only because of their connection with architectural monuments, left the population and as a result, of it’s bad condition today). Also doesn’t have the aim to increase intolerance among nations.
